During our short holiday in Haarlem, we visited the small town of Zandvoort. We don’t care about the Formula One that will take place in a few weeks there, nor are we a family who likes to lay on the beach for a full day. We visited the Streetart Zandvoort exhibition at the local museum, followed by a short walk over the boulevard and through the streets of Zandvoort. To see some of the new art pieces on various walls.

The exhibition at the museum is small and diverse enough to keep you engaged for 40 - 50 minutes. I was glad to see some of my favorites like Pipsqueak Was Here!!!, who are also responsible for the exhibition poster.

2 pieces by Pipsqueak was here Finn takes a picture of the piece by PWH!!!

A great selection of work by Hugo Kaagman, one of the earliest stencil artists of the Netherlands.

I am fascinated by the work of Maya Hayuk called Double X’s on the Y. A hypnotizing piece of colors, tapestry and patterns. It reminds me of the work of Anthony Garcia Sr. I saw at Straat museum in Amsterdam.

Some of the other fine pieces we saw at the exhibition.

Next to the indoor exhibition you can also see a dozen of live pieces on the streets of Zandvoort. It's a small tour that takes you about 30 minutes, make it 45 to get some fresh fish as well.

Utrecht-based JanisdeMan always finds a way to combine his art with details of the building.

We all love to visit street art when we get a chance so this was a great way for us to discover some new work and revisit old favorites.
